Storage loss before shipping
Loss of tubers during storage is common for certain varieties. We undersell our stock of tubers by 30%. However, it is possible that between the time you purchase and the time we begin shipping, tubers may rot in our storage. If that happens, we will notify you and refund the purchase price of the tuber that is no longer available. If you ordered other varieties, they will ship as expected. If you did not order any other varieties, your shipping fee will also be refunded.
Shipping
$15.00 flat rate shipping. Shipping will begin the first week of April. We can only watch weather on our end, if it is not safe to ship the first week of April to your location, you MUST let us know before hand. Please be aware that I am not responsible for any damage caused by freezing temperatures during transit. Orders will be shipped in the order they are placed.
Cold Weather Shipping Policy: If you request your dahlia tubers to be shipped before April, please be aware that I am not responsible for any damage caused by freezing temperatures during transit. It is the buyer’s responsibility to consider their local weather conditions before requesting early shipment. No refunds or replacements will be issued for tubers damaged due to cold exposure.
Shipping Delays Disclaimer: Once your order has been shipped, I am not responsible for any delays caused by USPS or other carriers. While I do my best to ensure timely shipping, transit times are out of my control. Please check your tracking information and contact USPS directly for any delivery issues. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for delays caused by the carrier.
Loss or Damage During Shipping: We do not offer automatic replacements or refunds for orders lost or damaged during shipping. All orders are shipped with up to $100 insurance. We will assist in filing a shipping claim for lost or damaged packages. If the claim is approved and insurance is reimbursed, we will refund your purchase price.
Guarantee
Please open and properly store your tubers immediately upon receipt. We require notification within 48hrs if there are any problems with your order. After that, the plant’s success is up to your green thumb and the conditions you provide. We can’t control your growing conditions, the weather or your treatment. If you find a problem with a tuber sent we WILL require you to send back the tuber before a refund is issued
We guarantee that our dahlias will grow true to their name. If your dahlias do not meet these standards, we will replace the following season.
To ensure optimal results, please plant your dahlias immediately after the last frost date for your USDA growing zone. Dahlias should begin to sprout within five weeks of planting; if they have not sprouted within six weeks, please contact us at Oasisflowerfarm@gmail.com.
Please note that our guarantee does not cover issues related to weather conditions, pest damage, or improper care. All claims must be submitted by August 1 of the year the dahlias were purchased. This guarantee is limited to the purchase price of the tubers and does not include shipping fees or liability for any damages resulting from crop failure.
Oasis Flower Farm cannot guarantee fall-shipped tubers due to limited control over the storage medium.
